Show Off Your Love of Toronto

Whether you're a seasoned Torontonian or a tourist passing through, there are millions of reasons to love Toronto. It's diverse, welcoming and easy-going. If you're a foodie, it's heaven on earth. And although it's a major city, you can quickly get back to nature. It's simply beautiful, stunning and there's so much to do!

So what better way to show off your love of Toronto than with David Crighton’s illustrated artwork? For over 40 years, David has been charming the visual hearts of Torontonians and tourists alike. With over 600 pieces, there isn’t much of this city that he hasn’t drawn! You’ll find many of his whimsical illustrations gracing the halls of hospitals, universities, government buildings, corporate boards rooms and private homes.

“The character of my drawings is lighthearted and humorous in a way…. But the real detail is in there. Every line, every little detail, is put in there with intent.” - David Crighton

David drew his first architectural drawing of a Victorian Gingerbread in Yorkville while studying art at Central Technical High School in Toronto. This set in motion a lifelong career illustrating Toronto architecture and capturing the spirit and heart of this wonderful city. The scope of his work includes his famous neighbourhood illustrations, “The Toronto Skyline” and the extremely popular collage, “My Toronto #3”. His iconic prints are available as wall art, calendars, pillows and phone cases. He continues to create new illustrations, offering a taste of what everyone calls home.
