About David

Beginning at an early age, David Crighton's fascination with art and architecture developed into a career which combines them both. Since graduating from Central Technical School in 1974 David Crighton has been recording the architectural diversity of Toronto & Southern Ontario with his distinctive style.

Consequently you can explore the extensive and ever expanding catalogue of images on this website. Pen and ink drawings with the addition of bright acrylic paint are the basic ingredients of David's art-making techniques. In addition to that, he utilizes computer software to enhance the final version of each print in ways too subtle to be done even by his well practiced hand. Many more Canadian and International subjects are in various stages of completion at David's busy Toronto studio. I addition to art-making David is anaccomplished and entertaining musician who performs cover songs from the 1960's to contemporary composers. Every day is a combination of his two favorite arts for which he is truly grateful.
