Toronto Gifts for Mom
With Mother's Day fast approaching, I thought I'd put together a list of local Toronto businesses offering unique and fun Mother's Day gifts. So let's celebrate the person with whom you have a motherhood connection. The owners/operators of these shops happen to be women who happen to be moms!
Given all that we've been through and what it appears we have ahead of us, I think we can all get behind the notion that the best thing we can give to those we love is something of ourselves. So here are some great ideas about gifts you can make yourself this mothers day that will carry meaning for both of you. For those that are looking for Canadian made and locally sourced gifts this Mothers Day consider the following:

Some additional services that make this shop unique are complimentary gift wrapping and scheduled gift delivery on your desired date.
As a Mom of two young girls, Megan has got her hands full. Good thing she has skillful hands and lots of help!
Girl-Centric Gift Shop
Collected Joy (with two locations): If you're looking for some slightly naughty girly things and live in The Beach or North Toronto, let me suggest you drop into Collected Joy.
Lovingly curated by the owner, Sharon Smyl, this shop has an array of smelly, tasty, naughty, and girly things like creams, nail polishes, crazy cards and fun gifts. Let's face it, moms are into those kinds of things. I'm thinking Sharon's teenagers tune her into some hip gifts!
Pop-Cultured Jewelry and Accessories

A jeweller by trade, owner Nesrin Akdemir has an excellent eye for unique, artfully created personal style products at an affordable price point.
