Massey College is a graduate students residential community affiliated with, but independent from, the University of Toronto. It provides a unique, congenial and intellectual environment for graduate students of distinguished ability in all disciplines to share in a rich and stimulating community.
The College is located on the St. George Campus of the University of Toronto, at the corner of Hoskin Avenue and Devonshire Place, just west of Queen Park in downtown Toronto.
Crightonism: A friend of mine was briefly employed here and he took me on a short tour which included the private study of Robertson Davies which is very cosy. I have enjoyed reading the annual "Massey Lectures" since I discovered them recently. This complex is a notable example of the work of architect Ron Thom who also designed Trent University, located in Peterborough Ontario Canada.
